Trading Director (Remote - Europe)

As Trading Director, you will lead and shape a high-performing Trading and Risk Management team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational risk strategies, managing exposure, and ensuring the integrity of trading operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can translate complex data into actionable insights, guide team performance, and make real-time decisions that impact business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, providing strategic direction and operational expertise to support growth. Accountabilities Lead, mentor, and grow the Trading and Risk Management team to ensure operational excellence and consistent performance. Develop, implement, and monitor risk strategies to manage liabilities, safeguard exposure, and optimize trading outcomes. Oversee daily trading activities, making real-time decisions and adjustments based on market trends and betting activities. Design and deliver risk reports and dashboards to leadership, translating complex trading and market data into actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk initiatives and support business objectives. Ensure operational compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory frameworks. Minimum 5 years of experience in sports betting, iGaming, or related trading and risk management roles. Proven experience leading operational teams in high-pressure, fast-moving environments. Deep understanding of sportsbook mechanics, bet types, liability management, and exposure control. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Technical proficiency with trading platforms, risk management systems, and data analytics tools for real-time decision-making. Based in Europe and fluent in English (spoken and written). Bonus: Experience building trading or risk teams, project/program management skills, knowledge of regulatory environments, and experience with GRC or risk management tools.
