We’re looking for a Senior Paid Ads Strategist who can lead strategy, client communication, and performance across Meta and other paid social channels. This isn’t a siloed “build ads and move on” role. You’ll dig into client business models, understand how their data flows back into the platforms, and translate messy real-world funnels into clean, scalable paid social strategies. Identify event issues, attribution gaps, offline conversion mismatches, and CRM feedback loops Work with client teams to improve signal quality and event coverage Understand how machine learning uses signals so you can build better optimization paths Client Leadership Lead calls with clarity and confidence — even when performance is complex Present findings, recommendations, and next steps in a way clients can actually use Manage expectations, explain tradeoffs, and guide decision-making Keep communication crisp, proactive, and grounded in strategy Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with creative teams, analysts, and tracking partners Bring together platform data, offline data, and CRM outputs to create a full performance picture Help refine internal processes and contribute to improving the agency’s playbooks What You Bring 3 to 5+ years of paid social experience with direct strategy ownership Strong Meta Ads expertise; LinkedIn and TikTok experience a plus Experience working with complex funnels beyond e-commerce Ability to scale budgets responsibly (100K+ monthly is helpful but not required) Strong analytical instincts and the ability to diagnose performance quickly Comfort working directly with clients and leading conversations Strong communication skills with a clear, structured storytelling style Ability to operate with high ownership in a fast-moving environment Curiosity around AI tools and faster optimization methods Nice to Have Previous experience in a smaller or boutique agency environment Exposure to attribution conversations, multi-touch funnels, and offline conversion flows Experience building or influencing creative strategy South Africa-based and available for strong overlap with US time zones How to Apply
