Researcher- Online Threat Intelligence

Control Risks is seeking a Researcher to join its growing Online Threat Intelligence team, based in Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to work in a team of threat intelligence experts and conduct research on open sources and deep and dark web venues and produce bespoke written analysis. Tasks and Responsibilities Research and production

• Conduct manual and automated searches to identify threats against our clients and assess their credibility.
• Contribute to the production of high quality bespoke written analysis aimed at contextualizing and assessing the threats faced by our clients.
• Research new sources of information and develop capabilities to collect and analyse information in support of the team's mission.
• Consulting responsibilities
• Support in the review and delivery of written bespoke work.
• Communicate effectively to direct intelligence collection to support and enhance the quality of final deliverables.

Essential:

• Practical knowledge of open-source intelligence collection and threat analysis. Ability to prepare written reports with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in managing time efficiently to successfully meet client deadlines.
• Experience in directing, collecting and analysing information, including following leads, in order to produce timely and actionable intelligence.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory

Preferred:

• An understanding of the main themes in the online threat landscape.
