MEP Drafter (Mechanical, Plumbing, Sprinkler) - AutoCAD Specialist

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented MEP Drafters with strong experience in AutoCAD, mechanical systems, plumbing, and fire sprinkler drafting. Our company specializes in delivering high-quality MEP design and coordination, and we are looking for candidates who can produce accurate, professional plans with minimal supervision. Key ResponsibilitiesMEP Drafting & Design Create and revise mechanical, plumbing, and sprinkler system drawings using AutoCAD. Draft clean plumbing systems, mechanical layouts, and coordinated MEP plans. Develop detailed LGAC (Local Law / General Construction / Air Conditioning) plans. Perform load calculations and incorporate them into mechanical and HVAC layouts. Prepare shop drawings, as-built plans, and construction documents. Coordination & Technical Work Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, and other trades (HVAC, electrical, fire protection). Interpret engineer markups, specifications, and design requirements into complete drawings. Ensure all drafted plans comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Maintain drawing accuracy, organization, and file version control. Experience as an MEP Drafter specializing in mechanical, plumbing, or sprinkler systems. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (required). Skilled in drafting clean plumbing, mechanical layouts, LGAC plans, and load calculations. Familiarity with fire sprinkler design and mechanical coordination. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, organized drawings.
