Data Scientist

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 3 years Location: Remote (India) JobType: full-time We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Scientist with strong technical expertise and a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate will be skilled in leveraging data to generate actionable insights, develop predictive models, and support business decision-making in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute assigned project tasks and analyses with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Perform data wrangling, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and model development using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Follow structured project plans, coding standards, and best practices to maintain consistency.
• Visualize and present insights using tools like Tableau or Sigma to communicate findings effectively.
• Translate complex technical results into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Iterate and refine models based on feedback while maintaining project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure project goals are met.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics (contract or full-time).
• Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma).
• Strong grasp of statistical analysis, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exposure to ML deployment or MLOps workflows is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a client-facing, consulting, or project-based setup is preferred.
• Willingness to work late shifts (up to 3 AM).
