Overview We are seeking a highly driven Marketplace Growth Manager to take full ownership of marketplace operations and expansion for a fast-growing, 10-year-old U.S. e-commerce brand specializing in smart-lighting accessories. With Amazon driving the majority of revenue and rapid expansion underway into Shopify and new channels, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-ownership, data-driven environment. You’ll lead marketplace strategy, optimize performance, oversee catalog health, manage creatives, and drive continuous revenue growth—without micromanagement, just clear goals and full autonomy. Key ResponsibilitiesMarketplace Ownership & Optimization Own end-to-end Amazon and Shopify marketplace operations with full accountability for growth and performance. Maintain catalog health, including flat-file uploads, variation fixes, attribute corrections, and keyword-rich listing copy. Build, optimize, and maintain the Amazon Storefront. Monitor account health and quickly address counterfeit claims, IP violations, and compliance issues. Growth & Performance Marketing Drive revenue growth through Amazon & Shopify PPC campaigns, promotions, and ongoing listing optimization. Independently manage PPC campaigns (preferred), including structure, bids, budgets, and performance analysis. Identify new marketplace opportunities, channels, and competitor trends to inform strategy. Data & Reporting Analyze performance data using Google Sheets (SUMIFS, IFERROR, LEFT, LEN, pivots) to spot trends and actionable insights. Build and maintain performance dashboards and provide clear, data-driven recommendations. Creative & Content Oversight Coordinate photographers and videographers to ensure listings maintain fresh, high-converting creatives. Collaborate with creative contributors to refine product imagery, video, and A+ content. Must-Haves 3+ years hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, including catalog uploads via flat files. 2+ years Shopify store management experience. Strong Google Sheets formula skills (SUMIFS, IFERROR, LEFT, LEN, etc.). Working knowledge of Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar tools. Excellent written and spoken English for Amazon Support communication and listing copywriting. Ability to work Eastern Time Zone hours. Ability to provide a passport copy and utility bill in your name (required for creating Amazon child accounts). Experience maintaining or improving marketplace sales performance. Preferred 2+ years of Amazon PPC experience, including independent campaign management. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Experience building or maintaining an Amazon Storefront.
