Job Summary:

As a Visual and Virtual Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in crafting a cohesive brand experience across both physical and digital platforms. You will be responsible for designing and implementing visual merchandising strategies to enhance in-store and online shopping experiences, ultimately driving sales and elevating brand perception. This hybrid role requires a creative eye, attention to detail, and an understanding of retail trends in both physical and digital spaces.

Responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising (In-Store):

  • Design, develop, and execute visual merchandising displays, including window displays, floor layouts, and product arrangements, to attract in-store customers and enhance the shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to create seasonal and promotional displays that align with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure that all product displays are maintained and updated regularly to reflect new arrivals, promotions, or product highlights.
  • Analyze store layout and customer traffic patterns to optimize product placement and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align store visuals with promotional events, launches, and campaigns.

Virtual Merchandising (Digital/E-Commerce):

  • Curate and manage online product pages, collections, and promotional banners to optimize the customer’s journey on the e-commerce site.
  • Develop and execute a digital merchandising strategy to enhance product presentation, increase engagement, and drive online sales.
  • Work with the e-commerce team to ensure seamless online navigation, focusing on product categorization, searchability, and visual consistency.
  • Use data and insights from web analytics to adjust product placements and optimize performance, focusing on bestsellers and high-potential items.
  • Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure cohesive visuals across the website, emails, and social media platforms.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in visual merchandising for retail (showroom and/or online).
  • Strong aesthetic sense with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and online merchandising platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales and performance data to make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
