Job Title: Software Technical Support Engineer
Location: Levico Terme (TN)

Software Technical Support Engineer will be dedicated to telephone and remote assistance to support customers in the use of BLM Group software solutions: CAD/CAM dedicated to BLM Group automation system programming, 3D graphics programming, production planning and management.

Responsabilities

  • Ensuring remote customer support in the use of BLM Group software solutions;
  • Helping to improve customer satisfaction with BLM GROUP products;
  • Reducing the time taken to handle and resolve customer issues;
  • Establishing a constructive and mutually valuable relationship with the customer.

Activities

  • Depth analysis of customer problems, in order to acquire more information useful for solving the problem and refining the technical analysis;
  • Technical support towards colleagues who are at the customer's premises and need specialised advice;
  • Technological transfer within the technical support team and towards the technical department, in order to implement an exchange of information useful for the constant improvement of software products in the main fields of application.

Must have

  •  Diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, automation, mechanics;
  • Strong interest in the in-depth study of technological issues technological issues relating to the use of solid modelling software (CAD CAM);
  • Mastery of the main computer programmes (MS Windows and Office);
  • Good knowledge of the English language (at least level B2; part of the selection process will be carried out in English);
  • Predisposition to listening and empathy, to be dedicated to understanding the user's requests;
  • Ability to problem solve, gather and research information to provide the best solution;
  • Ability to communicate with the customer in a clear and comprehensive manner.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge/experience of CAD/CAM software;
  • Professional knowledge of a second foreign language (German, Spanish, French);
  • Experience in remote technical support at manufacturing companies or ICT consulting companies;
  • Experience in 3D design at manufacturing companies.
