We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Program Management to be part of our Revenue Operations (RevOps) Team!

The team:

The Revenue Operations team sits strategically at the unification of people, process, technology, and data. They work to drive a buyer centric go-to-market strategy and enable the ability for Jobber to engage with the right person, at the right time, in the right way. The team consists of roles that contribute to a whole that is much greater than the sum of its parts.

The role: 

Reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue Operations, the Senior Manager, Program Management is a transformational leader and creative problem solver with a passion for tackling tough, cross functional opportunities. They are responsible for stewarding strategic transformation initiatives, by providing leadership and program frameworks for operational excellence efforts, accountability across teams, and securing the proper resources/expertise needed for success. They will manage a team of program managers who will take on the most important Jobber programs with 6 to 18 month horizons. They will also oversee a technology enablement team supporting the change management associated with technology or process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the program management craft at Jobber, defining excellence and driving standardization for transformational change.
  • Lead and develop a team of high-performing program managers, enhancing their skills and operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee the technology enablement function, managing change related to technology or process improvements.
  • Drive cross functional programs with deliverables across strategy, technical, and customer facing functions.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to align sprints and roadmaps, and connect various programs to create a cohesive strategy.
  • Develop and execute program roadmaps, from planning through to production readiness and launch.
  • Work with leaders to drive strategic business outcomes and provide data-driven recommendations for execution and progress monitoring.
  • Quickly identify critical issues and dependencies, drive them to closure, and communicate results effectively.
  • Build trust across teams, generate broad support for projects/programs, and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Rapidly navigate new program areas, dive deep into subject areas and bring information back to the right level of granularity.
  • Ability to drive domain specific discussions, leading experts in the field through active problem solving.
  • Develops a high quality plan that is organized into manageable pieces that can be individually owned.
  • Identifies risks and issues and presents recommended response plans to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of program management leadership experience, including planning and leading medium to large-sized programs.
  • Proven ability to influence at the VP/C level within a matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of SaaS technologies or experience collaborating with engineering teams on complex technology programs.
  • Proficiency with Agile and Scrum development methodologies, project/program framework best practices, tools, and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across teams and deliver the best outcome of programs.
  • Experience in business and report writing, with strong communication skills.
  • Advanced analytics and reporting capabilities, using data to drive business insights and decisions.
  • Proven leadership experience, managing people leaders and fostering team-building skills.
