The team:


The Partnerships team works with businesses from industry-leading tech companies to freelancers to bring new users to Jobber or build product experiences for our mutual users. We are responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with our largest partners as well as managing smaller program partners. 


We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Partner Operations to drive high quality and flawless operational management of Jobber Channel and Product partners. This includes owning and optimizing the operations for onboarding, maintaining and supporting both partners. This leader will drive operational excellence through the effective use of systems, tools, and processes and collaboration with other internal and external teams to manage our partners. 


Reporting to the SVP of Partnerships, the Senior Manager, Partner Operations supports the scale of Jobber partnerships. We are looking for highly passionate candidates who have relentless curiosity, proficient planning and organizational skills, a startup mentality, a willingness to manage multiple priorities, and ability to deal with ambiguity effectively.


You will be responsible for the day to day program management, development and execution of the partner program. This is a high impact role, with quickly changing priorities and demands. You will think strategically, arrive at a focused execution plan, and lead the plan to fruition.


The role:



  • Design and deliver effective workflows, processes and tools needed to enable onboarding, growth and management of Partners (Channel and Product Partnerships - both strategic and non-strategic)

  • Responsible for the design, build and management of partner playbook to outline the requirements and benefits of each level of partner (onboarding sessions, co-marketing, account management, etc)

  • Build out co-selling motion internally and externally to drive more leads to and from partners

  • Collaborating with the RevOps team, analyze existing tools, systems, and processes to find gaps and areas for improvement to most efficiently manage partner pipelines and strategic initiatives 

  • Enable the business development teams to build and manage their pipeline

  • Oversee the onboarding of new strategic partnerships 

  • Work with internal stakeholders to implement and optimize data/reporting, system workflows, and overall operational governance for the program

  • Collaborate with internal departments to develop Partner Program playbooks and onboarding tools to enhance overall partner experience and communicate to partners.

  • Coordinate and plan partnership events as needed (franchise conferences, industry conferences, offsites, etc)

  • Maintain partnership industry competitive detail to understand our partnership gaps

  • Proactively investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve escalations while communicating, when needed, to cross-functional teams throughout the process

  • Effectively manage, coach, and cultivate the performance and development of the Partnership Operations team


To be successful, you will need:



  • A minimum of 4 years experience running Partner Programs, Partner Enablement, Partner Marketing or Partner Project management (2+ years working for a Technology SAAS company)

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment 

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • A passion for building from nothing, programs and teams

  • Prior experience working with external partners/vendors a plus

  • Proven experience successfully collaborating cross functionally with marketing, sales, customer success and ancillary teams to build alignment

  • Strategy oriented with superior problem solving abilities

  • Strong written and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and communicate across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Willing to occasionally travel to partner on-sites, conferences or other business needs
