We are looking to recruit an experienced Remote Operations Programme Manager to join our team based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will serve as the central point of contact within the Remote Operations department, facilitating strategic planning and execution of projects. This role is also responsible for acting as the Future Workforce Representative, focusing on initiatives related to workforce planning, development, and engagement to ensure the department is well-equipped for future operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Remote Operations department and various project managers to coordinate and communicate project activities effectively.
  • Assist in strategic project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the ROC Supervisor to enhance project planning and operational execution within the ROC, ensuring seamless integration of activities.
  • Conduct regular project status reviews and report on progress to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Support in the development of comprehensive project documentation and manage project risks and changes.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and ensure robust stakeholder communication to drive project success.
  • Serve as the Future Workforce Representative, planning and implementing strategies for talent acquisition, development, and retention to prepare for future operational needs.
  • Analyse workforce trends and collaborate with HR to design and implement training programs and career development opportunities that enhance employee skills and engagement.
  • Work with the ROC Supervisor to identify areas for improvement within ROC operations and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies during project execution.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and innovation.

What Skills & Experience Will You Have?

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in program management, ideally within remote operations or a similar technical field.
  • Must have confidence and self-motivation
  • Experience in workforce planning or human resources management is desirable.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in the Arabic language would be an advantage
  • Experience within the Geotechnical Survey industry would be beneficial
