Summary:

Goldbelt Professional Services, LLC., is seeking a responsible and Professional Project Manager to organize and manage assorted projects with our contract client. This role will work closely with the Program Manager, and you will be tasked with coordinating various tasks and completing administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee activities and provide support for the team.
  • Conduct onboarding and off boarding of personnel
  • Facilitate trainings as needed.
  • Meet with team leads periodically to identify staffing/operational gaps and resolve.
  • Assist with collecting and collating documents for reporting.
  • Monitor and report project progress, including but not limited to completed tasks, upcoming projects, challenges/concerns.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings with CDC leadership, contract leadership, and others as needed.
  • Propose and facilitate operational changes to enhance team efficiency.
  • Plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget to include acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate and assist with assigned tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and project requirements.
  • Implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and logs.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for future improvement.
  • Ensure all project deliverables are met and obtain formal project acceptance.
  • Implement improvements to project management processes and tools.
  • Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by leadership and/or task leads
  • Review invoices and track spend plan.
  • Maintain program management and operations SOP.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse set of government and commercial stakeholders on technical contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership, teamwork, management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to derive solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Applications (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Excellent judgement and decision making, with strong analytical skills; business intuition and business acumen.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Public Health, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in project or program management.
  • Experience developing quality assurance plans and compliance documentation.
  • Previous experience working with the CDC is desired to understand the culture and environment.
  • Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint sites.
  • Experience with Adobe suite, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Public Health, Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management. Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Previous experience with federal government agencies; preferably with CDC.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000 per year.
