About the job

Twilio is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join the IT Product Management team. You will own refining, supporting, and measuring Project Intake value-realization for the IT Product organization. In collaboration with IT product resources you will be developing and improving a team-centric framework to support cross-functional business and engineering teams. You will be able to automate and innovate on legacy systems. You will support creating workable technical solutions for unique problems. In this fast-paced environment, you should be comfortable working in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision while contributing to a partner engagement model that demonstrates technical competence and business acumen. As a leader, you will develop an “estimated vs actual” capacity model for all IT Product engagements. You will need to be analytical and data driven from design to release by evaluating execution and solution success. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams solving complex problems for internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Own measuring Flow input/output for all relevant IT Discovery Intake.
  • Own making recommendations for improvements of Flow and Increased Capacity through the IT organization.
  • Coach teams on adopting normalized best practices for work estimation and reporting.
  • Support and serve globally distributed teams as they improve speed, agility, and quality.
  • Develop a continuous improvement backlog for the internal IT Product team.
  • Routinely follow up on key solutions to level up customer satisfaction and assess final delivery.
  • Create reports and presentations that can effectively communicate solution pipeline and opportunities at all levels of the organization.

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in product or program management, scaled agile, business development and technology
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience overseeing execution strategy and tactical improvements
  • Experience with feature delivery and value driven decision making
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product pipeline
  • Superior communication skills verbally and in writing are a must-have, inclusive being comfortable presenting to new and existing stakeholders.

Desired:

  • Technically savvy and experience with the cloud, APIs, communications, AI, enterprise software, devices, and mobility is a plus.

Location:

  • This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, Seattle, WA, New York, NY or the surrounding areas.

Travel:

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $123,520.00-$154,400.00 
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
