For our Raspberry Pi based hardware project, we are looking for a developer who has both enthusiasm and knowledge for optimal configuration of the Linux platform, as well as professional further development of the web interface.
You will actively participate in the planning and implementation of new features within our development team and ensure optimal design, implementation, test preparation and documentation of your applications.
Important to note is that for collaboration within the team, knowledge of C# / Angular is desirable, but not necessary.
Your Responsibilities:
- Independent translation and creation of Debian packages
- Development and implementation of patches for bug fixing and performance improvement
- Creation and customization of Linux-based firmware images
- Integration into the CI/CD server and ensuring automated build processes
- Ensuring compliance with open-source principles and standards
Your profile and Qualifications:
- Profound knowledge in Linux installation and administration
- Experience in the independent development of patches and the translation of Debian packages
- Knowledge in C and C++
- Proven experience in the creation and optimization of firmware images
- Good understanding of open-source principles and standards
- Team player with good communication skills
- Independent and proactive working style
