You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and organized medical records of patients. You will be responsible for extracting relevant information from medical documents and organizing them chronically and neatly as well as calling insurance companies and attorneys. Responsibilities:
Review and organize medical records.
Extract relevant information from medical documents and input data into electronic systems.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
Communicate effectively with Lawyers and Insurance companies
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Understanding of medical terminology.
Previous experience in roles such as secretaries, medical scribes, or legal assistants.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Good typist with excellent accuracy and speed.
Familiarity with insurance policies, claims processes, and regulations.
Ability to extract information and organize documents chronically and neatly.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with legal management software and other tools used in the legal industry.
Knowledge of no-fault workers' compensation laws and procedures.
