Purpose:
The Leader Trade Compliance, LIXIL EMENA is responsible that all entities of the GROHE Holding Subgroup (GROHE subsidiaries owned by GROHE Holding GmbH) comply with all applicable national and international Trade Control, Export Control and Sanction regulations.

The role ensures coordination, management and monitoring of all applicable legal requirements and documentations of Trade Control. Leader Trade Compliance is also responsible for the review and optimization of the Export Control processes.


Responsibilities:

• Regional Trade Compliance office for LIXIL:

• Central point of contact on import, export and trade related issues.
• Point of contact for third parties (authorities, customers and other business partners)
regarding Trade Compliance issues.
• Responsible for the application and control of export licenses, to the EU and third country markets (e.g. AEO approvals and status; BAFA approvals).


• Trade Compliance culture in EMENA:

• Support and supervision of sub-regional Trade Compliance Manager
• Development and maintenance of internal Trade Compliance rules and policies
• Training of affected employees of GROHE Holding Subgroup

 

• Analysis of Trade Compliance risks and risk mitigating measures:

• Monitoring of export activities (including exports from local warehouses) and other business partner constellations to identify potential Trade Compliance issues
• Monitoring of changes in local Export and Trade Control regulations
• Definition of mitigating measures to address country or region specific risks
• Ensure compliance with the due diligence process required for selected business partners to avoid violation of Trade Control (sanctions) & Anti Money Laundering regulations
• Organize and support internal Trade Compliance Audits


• Trade Compliance Communication:

• Regular communication and information on Trade Compliance
• Ensure the availability of instructions in local language

 


Job Requirements:

• Successfully completed studies or a commercial apprenticeship preferably with a specialization in customs and/or foreign trade
• 5+ years professional experience in a comparable position
• Very good knowledge of SAP
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications or equivalents (e.g. Google Workspace)
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Structured and organized way of working
