Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Recruiter to join our human resources team! The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and recruiting top talent for our Company. The Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless hiring process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Recruiting:

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment for logistics and warehouse positions, from sourcing to onboarding, while working remotely.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers virtually to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Utilize various channels to attract and identify qualified candidates, including online job boards and virtual networking events.
  • Screen resumes, conduct virtual interviews, and assess candidates to ensure a strong fit with company culture and requirements.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including scheduling virtual interviews, providing feedback, and extending job offers.
  • Develop and maintain virtual relationships with staffing agencies to support remote hiring needs.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires through digital platforms.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

HR Administrative:

  • Assist in HR administrative tasks remotely, such as maintaining and updating digital employee records, handling virtual documentation records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), and supporting remote HR processing.
  • Collaborating with the HR team through digital communication channels to implement and improve HR policies, procedures, and communication.
  • Assist with the onboarding, orientation and training process for new employees and department.
  • Process paperwork related to employee changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics and data as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling HR-related information.
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations applicable to remote work conditions.
  • Must be able to use virtual applicant tracking systems and HRIS.
  • Must be able to meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations and physical demands of the position complying with Ethnix Group’s policies and performance expectations.

Organizational Responsibilities:

Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).

Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, warehouse, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).

Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve the site's efficiency, profitability, and productivity.

Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, logistics tools, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training programs and by accessing other sources of information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.

Work Hours (may vary by state or location):

This position is scheduled as a full time. Hours of operation vary by site and shift. Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled and must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the logistics or warehouse industry, with a successful track record of remote work.
  • Strong understanding of remote recruitment processes and HR best practices.
  • Excellent virtual communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Ability:

Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete legal documents, and answer questions in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Bilingual in Spanish.

Math Ability:

Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, decimals, and fractions, and calculate percentages.

Certificates and Licenses:

  • PHR and/or SHRM preferred.
  • TOEFL – English certificate or equivalent

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
