Host/Hostess

This host will be the first person our customers see and deal with, which means the candidate will need to be well presented, with an impeccable personal appearance and a friendly and welcoming manner.

The host needs to be able to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a controlled and professional exterior.

You will need to have an organised and focused mind to be able to control the seating and organisation of the two venues.

You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem-solving, observation, and interpersonal skills.

You will be dealing with many different nationalities, mainly English and Spanish, so good knowledge of both of these languages is essential within this role.

Responsibilities

• Arranging seating plans for the restaurant and show venue
• Welcoming guests and seating guests
• Ability to use restaurant and ticketing software
• Maintaining a high level of personal appearance
• Answering questions and giving productive and constructive answers
• Ensuring the guests are happy and receiving quality service

Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.
• Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Decisiveness.
• Approachability and punctuality 
• High level of personal hygiene and appearance
• Willingness to learn new software programs
• Computer literate
• English Language essential
• Spanish language essential
• Other languages are a bonus
