This position encompasses the design, development, implementation, and debugging of custom application changes required to support Hogan Core Banking technology and business projects.
Location: Offshore (Remote) - Work Remotely on Projects in Australia
It also involves identifying and resolving software problems, interfacing with other application teams, and custom coding.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design the component of a solution covering a technical or application domain as a member of a team of developers for a project involving multiple domains.
- Design, build, and test integration solutions for specific business problems or project requirements.
- Document program code in accordance with user requirements, and system & technical specifications.
- Provide input to, or develop business systems solutions estimations and specifications.
- Partner with the support organization to ensure the resolution of incidents and appropriate scheduling of reverse demand activities.
- Engage with clients, other software developers, business analysts, support analysts, quality analysts, integration, and senior management.
- Closely monitor workload and progress, instilling a sense of urgency on tasks and defect resolutions.
- Be Customer focused: interpret and analyze customer requirements; influence design solutions in line with Technology strategy.
- Produce requirements documentation and system plans, and encode, test, debug, maintain, and document programs and applications.
Skills required:
- Appropriate qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience.
- Technical experience involving the Hogan System conversion process.
- Technically experienced in applying the Hogan programming standards.
- At least 3+ years of appropriate Hogan Core Banking industry experience within either:
- CIS – Customer Information System or
- IDS - Integrated Deposit System
- Mainframe z/OS COBOL, VSAM, DB2, JCL, TSO, CICS, Control-M, and Assembler.
Desirable:
- Experience developing or supporting high availability production systems.
- Experience in IT in a large organization within the Financial Services industry.
