We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join us in building and improving our product suite. AgUnity products range from a SuperApp platform built using Angular and React as well as a web-based information management system built using React. A fast-paced start-up well established in the FinTech, Web3, and ethical food supply chain space, we are looking for someone who is a reliable, self-motivated individual capable of learning and supporting the technology team, and who believes in our mission to positively impact the lives of 1-billion worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our CTO, other Frontend and Backend Developers, QAs, and UI/UX Designer across different technical challenges in an Agile environment
• Be an active planner, developer, and contributor to the software architecture
• Create systems and tools to facilitate development for growth and speed of execution
• Set the future course for development practice including the use of frameworks, libraries, and coding style
• Working with the product team to maintain a consistent design language across our products
• Ensure responsive design practices are always adhered to

Who are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer delivering public-facing web (React strongly preferred)
• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate across teams in person and virtually
• Collaborative mindset, to participate in a transparent and learning culture with the team
• Strong drive to develop high-quality code in a fast-paced environment
• Expert in CSS and CSS pre-processors and building JavaScript, and TypeScript applications
• Experience working with React
• Experience building UI Component Libraries
• Knowledge of working with web APIs
• Experience working within a DevOps culture

Nice to have skills

• Database proficiency, including traditional SQL & Document Databases
• Experience with Azure/other cloud platforms

Where are we located?

Although our head office is on the Gold Coast, our people and projects are spread over 16 different countries. We are predominantly a remote-based company, working over several time zones. The role of Frontend Software Developer will be a remote role with a preference for applicants located between the time zones GMT+7:00 (Indonesia) through GMT+11 (Australia).
