Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Estimator specialized in electrical and telecommunication projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of estimating practices within the US market, particularly in electrical and telecommunication systems. Proficiency in industry codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code), BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International), ANSI-TIA (American National Standards Institute-Telecommunications Industry Association), and other relevant standards and best practices is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical and telecommunication projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.
  • Conduct thorough material take-offs and labor analysis to determine project costs.
  • Utilize industry-specific software and tools to assist in the estimation process.
  • Provide support during bid proposal preparations, including preparing cost breakdowns and supporting documentation.
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings to communicate cost estimates and provide insights to project teams.
  • Evaluate and analyze historical data and project performance to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English language skills at either C1or C2 level is required.
  • English Resume is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proficient knowledge of industry codes and standards, including NEC, BICSI, ANSI-TIA, and others.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
