About the job

This position is needed to drive process improvements for the IT Business Operations organization. This role involves a continuous quest for optimizing existing workflows and identifying areas for enhancements to ensure operational efficiency. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze current processes, implement innovative solutions,  and monitor outcomes to foster a culture of continuous improvement.  Through meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach, the specialist will play a pivotal role in elevating operations to new heights of excellence.  

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Contribute to department continuous improvement initiatives and short/long term projects.
  • ServiceNow, Airtable & Jira ticket Management.
  • Vendor management, performance, strategy, continuous improvement and commodity management.
  • Assist in monitoring performance against operations goals - assist with the development of reporting and auditing processes used to analyze operational effectiveness for assigned commodities. 
  • Perform data analysis to assist in driving strategic initiatives, cost reduction and efficiency gains.
  • Monitor and track assigned KPI’s - develop containment and corrective action as required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Twilio leadership to identify opportunities and develop solutions identified through risk mitigation, automation and continuous improvement suggestions.
  • Process new and recurring purchases per the established intake workflows.
  • Drive IT/CDO purchase request/order management for assigned categories and policy and/or standard compliance.
  • Recommend new workflows and improve upon existing workflows - includes the development of standardized documentation to be created in collaboration with Business Operations Management.
  • Invoice and commodity spend management + associated reporting.

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in business administration, management or related field.
  • 3+ years previous experience in IT, business, finance or supply chain related fields.
  • Experience with forecasting models, interpreting financial data, budget allocation and KPI tracking.
  • Previous purchase requisition/order, invoice reconciliation and vendor management experience.
  • Familiarity with statistical models, forecasting, process creation and/or technical writing.

Desired:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Expert level organizational skills - keen eye for detail.
  • Strong problem solving capability.
  • ServiceNow, JIRA and/or Oracle experience.
  • Agile, Lean Six Sigma experience or  related professional certifications. 

Location

This role will be based in Bogota, Colombia.

Travel

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colombia: 202,800,000- 253,500,000
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
