Overall Purpose of the Position


The Administration officer Court Management Services shall provide assistance to the officials in the Court Management Services Unit in the undertaking of legal duties on behalf of the Bank.


 


Operational Responsibilities



  • To promptly input Garnishee Orders and Counter-Warrants in the necessary systems, maintain their proper recording, liaising with Branches / Unit and third parties on Garnishee Order and Counter-Warrants, prepare replies, Schedules of Deposit and other ancillary matters relating to their processing and maintenance;

  • To perform all that is required with regards to requests for information regarding Accounts and other assets of the Bank’s deceased customers, to extract information from the Bank’s systems, liaise with Branches/Unit for the collection of such data, prepare the relevant letter/s of reply with such data and maintain proper recording , in a timely and correct manner and as instructed;

  • To input data in the Bank’s records regarding revocations of Power of Attorney documents in a timely and correct manner, prepare and draft all necessary documents and other ancillary matters;

  • To assist in the preparation of all that is required for the performance of the Unit duties, including retrieval of archival documentation and printing of Statements in relation to Court summons;

  • To carry out all ancillary tasks to the above that may be assigned from time to time and other duties which do not necessarily appertain to the Court Management Services Unit but which appertain to the Department of which the Unit forms part.


 


 General Responsibilities



  • To submit any reports and/or participate in any projects and activities as may be directed from time to time;

  • To ensure compliance with Bank’s policies, guidelines and underlying procedures at all times;

  • To ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout;

  • To perform standard office procedures including processing mail, answering phone calls, ordering supplies and filing;

  • To attend training as requested and perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

  • Fluent in the Maltese Language;

  • Have good verbal and written communication skills;

  • Be reliable, organised, meticulous and prepared to work under pressure ;

  • Be a team player while still being able to work independently when needed;

  • Committed to self-development and enjoy working in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting & interpersonal skills;

  • Be computer literate and conversant in MS Office applications

Qualification



  • In possession of a qualification in the financial services sector.
