Meet the Team Join our dynamic and passionate team dedicated to making a difference in healthcare, specifically in the field of diabetes. As a Territory Sales Specialist, you will lead the promotion of our medical devices across Japan, engaging with healthcare professionals in hospitals, clinics, and community settings. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that improve prescription behavior and drive patient growth through impactful field engagement. Where You Come In As a Territory Sales Specialist, you will represent our medical device portfolio to healthcare professionals across Japan. You will be responsible for driving product adoption, educating HCPs, and supporting clinical integration across a diverse range of healthcare settings. This is an individual contributor role with high visibility and strategic impact. Sales collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team (Regional Sales Manager and other Sales Team member) and develop key stakeholders and promote brand penetration, including endocrinologists, diabetes nurse educators, and key advocates. Event Strategy: Execute brand strategies and a nationwide field event strategy. Support regional event strategies and improve execution in collaboration with marketing. Account Management: Lead projects at every center required to grow sales and relationships with a strong emphasis on diabetes care. Set quarterly sales touch points with each region to ensure consistent engagement and growth. Administrative Support: Serve as a key speaking partner for legal, event management, and regional responsibilities. Improve invitation and communication processes in collaboration with marketing. Use professional concepts and knowledge of company objectives to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively. Develop a proficiency in the company's business to inform decisions. Receive assignments in the form of objectives and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provide guidance to team members using established company policies. Frequently interact with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer members. Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors. Follow processes and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization. What Makes You Successful You can build strong relationships with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and other HCPs to drive product awareness and prescription behavior. You can deliver compelling product education and training to HCPs, ensuring confident and effective use of medical devices. You can represent the company at diabetes-related events, trade shows, and professional forums to promote our mission and solutions. You can collaborate effectively with internal teams to support territory growth and ensure alignment on messaging and strategy. Education and Experience Prefer to have 2 years of sales experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals Proven ability to educate and influence HCPs Familiarity with the Japanese healthcare system Native-level Japanese proficiency; English is a plus Travel Required This is a field-based role requiring frequent domestic travel across your assigned territory.
