Storage and Backup Engineer - Remote

Design and Provisioning of Epic-Compliant Storage Architecture: Design and configure storage systems (SAN/NAS) to meet Epic's System Requirements and specific performance benchmarks (e.g., IOPS, latency). Ensure proper RAID levels, thin provisioning, deduplication, and tiering strategies based on workload needs. Support cutover activities for moving production environments between storage platforms or sites. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Implement and maintain Epic-approved backup strategies and disaster recovery (DR) solutions. Coordinate backup policies for Epic Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle, and image repositories in accordance with Epic's DR recommendations. Ensure HIPAA-compliant storage practices, including encryption at rest, access controls, and audit logging. Support DR testing and validation cycles for Epic readiness and compliance
