    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Mobile in the United States. In this role, you will lead the mobile engineering team responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications across iOS and Android platforms. You will define the technical architecture, establish best practices, and influence cross-functional teams to deliver features that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. The role requires hands-on development, mentoring, and strategic thinking to solve complex software problems while ensuring operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to drive the technical roadmap and optimize mobile experiences for a large, active user base. Accountabilities · Define and implement technical architecture and best practices for mobile applications on iOS and Android. · Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver major features and enhancements. · Influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with quality, architecture, and operational standards. · Solve complex software challenges with extensible, scalable, and maintainable solutions. · Contribute to the technical and product roadmap, including project scoping, estimation, and delivery. · Mentor and guide engineers to foster professional growth and adoption of industry best practices. · Assess and improve operational excellence, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and live production support processes. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. · 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role. · Strong proficiency in native mobile development (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android). · Experience supporting customer-facing mobile applications in production environments. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. · Demonstrated ability to work independently and make informed technical decisions. · Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and legacy mobile app modernization. · Ability to solve complex problems, mentor teams, and influence best practices across engineering teams.

    Bonus / Preferred Experience:
