In this role, you will contribute to critical environmental and geotechnical projects, providing technical expertise and field support to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will engage in on-site sampling, inspections, and testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex project requirements. The position involves both analytical and hands-on work, translating field data into actionable insights for clients and internal teams. Accountabilities · Conduct environmental and geotechnical fieldwork including soil, sediment, and water sampling, monitoring well installation, and remediation system operation. · Perform environmental due diligence inspections, including Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, and prepare customized reports. · Provide project oversight and support multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. · Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address technical issues, regulatory compliance, and project objectives. · Apply critical thinking and technical expertise to analyze data, identify risks, and recommend effective, cost-efficient solutions. · Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project deliverables while supporting team communication and workflow. · Travel locally and regionally to project sites as required (up to 40%), adhering to safety protocols and project specifications. · Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related accredited field. · 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in environmental or geotechnical engineering. · Experience with consulting projects, regulatory compliance, and environmental site assessments preferred. · Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, including UST, HSRA, and Brownfield programs. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with field data collection tools. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to technical report writing and documentation. · Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
