We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Software Engineer to join a high-performing Risk Platform team focused on protecting financial systems and users from fraud and other risks. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize risk detection and mitigation systems that scale efficiently while maintaining reliability and a seamless user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, product, and analytics, to implement both proactive and reactive risk solutions. 2+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems.
Solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Familiarity with modern development practices, including CI/CD, testing, and monitoring. Ability to work independently on complex tasks and quickly adapt to unfamiliar systems. Preferred: experience in risk, fraud detection, or financial systems; familiarity with real-time event processing, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and machine learning applications.
