Software Developer

Inplan is looking for a Software Developer (Contractor) with strong experience in VB.NET, C#, and SQL to support the ongoing development, modernization, and maintenance of INPLAN’s software solutions. This position is fully remote, explicitly suited for offshore developers, and offered as a freelance/contract engagement.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As a Software Developer (VB.NET / C#), you will build new features, enhance existing modules, and contribute to technical modernization initiatives. You will take ownership of development tasks, troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and collaborate closely with senior developers and QA in an Agile/project-oriented environment. The role requires technical depth, clean and structured coding, and clear communication in a remote setting. Although the position is fully remote, applicants must be based in Egypt or Lebanon.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and enhance software modules using VB.NET and C# · Analyze and resolve technical issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks · Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code · Participate in technical design discussions, planning, and code reviews · Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data structures · Support API integrations and backend interface development · Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment · Contribute to modernization, refactoring, and system improvement initiatives · 2–4 years of experience in software development · Strong hands-on experience with VB.NET and C# · Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server preferred) · Solid understanding of .NET Framework / .NET Core · Knowledge of Git or similar version control systems · Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns · Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment · Good written and spoken English

ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
