Senior Software Engineer - Golang (Remote - India)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, secure, and globally scalable systems deployed on AWS. You’ll collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers to deliver fault-tolerant microservices and cloud-native solutions that safeguard complex ecosystems. Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant microservices on AWS using Golang and related technologies.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous unit and integration testing, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and DevOps, to align technical execution with business goals.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring reliability and performance across distributed systems.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) to design efficient and consistent data models.
• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and team mentorship to foster engineering excellence.
• Implement observability best practices through logs, metrics, and tracing to monitor system health and uptime.

5+ years of software engineering experience with proven expertise in Golang, and proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

• Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, Fargate, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD workflows, and DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions.

Proficiency in working with Git-based workflows and modern agile development environments. Solid understanding of database management across both relational and NoSQL systems. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
