As a Senior Shopify Front-End Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, building, and maintaining scalable Shopify storefronts that serve international markets. You will lead technical execution for Shopify migrations, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, performant, and maintainable solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Shopify, Liquid templating, front-end development, and API integrations, with a strong focus on responsive design and long-term platform scalability. You will influence architecture decisions, contribute to pilot launches, and support ongoing improvements, all while thriving in a dynamic, fully remote environment. · Develop and maintain Shopify front-end architecture using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and Liquid templates. · Drive the migration of existing stores to Shopify, ensuring consistent functionality, design, and performance across regional storefronts. · Support backend integrations between Shopify and other internal systems, enabling seamless data and logic flow. · Define and maintain scalable, flexible Shopify architecture that supports future growth and multi-market expansion. · Collaborate with internal teams and external Shopify vendors to establish technical standards and best practices. · Contribute to pilot releases and provide guidance for subsequent rollouts across additional markets. · Ensure high code quality, maintainability, and performance through reviews and testing. · Troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain platform reliability and uptime. · Maintain clear technical documentation for integrations, architecture, and market configurations. · 7+ years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack development. · 3+ years of hands-on experience building, customizing, and scaling Shopify stores. · Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid templates, theme development, and Shopify architecture. · Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), with a focus on responsive design. · Experience with API integrations, Shopify Apps, and backend connectivity. · Proven track record in platform migrations or large-scale Shopify implementations. · Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed teams. · Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of technical deliverables. · Preferred: experience with Shopify Plus, Hydrogen/Remix, or headless Shopify architecture, familiarity with React.js/Next.js, multi-region/multi-currency setups, CI/CD pipelines, and Git. · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is advantageous. · Competitive compensation with payments in USD or local currency. · Fully remote position based in Latin America with flexible working hours. · Lead high-impact, international e-commerce projects. · Collaborate with talented engineers and top Shopify vendors globally. · Influence platform architecture and long-term scalability decisions. · Opportunity for professional growth and exposure to cutting-edge Shopify technologies.
