    Working Title: Senior Operations Data Analyst

    FLSA Status: Exempt

    Posting Salary Range: $61,681 - $81,253

    Office Location: Remote within North Carolina

    What We’re Looking For

    Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Senior Operations Data Analyst to join our team! The Senior Operations Data Analyst is responsible for providing data analysis support to Trillium Operations and other departments, focusing closely on Primary Care Physician assignment data, Tailored Care Management assignment data, and the maintenance and upkeep of the Waitlist data/state reporting. This position will also maintain dashboards and management tools.

    On a typical day, you might:

    • Assist with developing and tracking of strategic goals,  projects, and timelines using Smartsheet and other project management tools.
    • Conduct analysis, summarize, and interpret results, using structured query language (SQL), Microsoft SQL Server Reporting, Microsoft Excel PivotTables, PivotCharts, and VLOOKUP, and BI tools or other analytics tools such as R or Python.
    • Create secondary data sets using health care data sources (e.g., clinical warehouse, authorizations, claims, etc.) to support new and ongoing programs and initiatives, including reports and dashboards.
    • Perform basic statistical analyses as well as reviews for statistical accuracy, validity, and applicability of analytical methods.
    • Maintain schedule of reporting and distribute reports to departmental staff and internal/external committees as needed.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience conducting health care data analytics using SQL, including extracting and analyzing health/clinical data, as well as programming and experience in the use and application of clinical data. Experience in extracting, creating, and working with large data sets from large, complex clinical/health data warehouses and financial databases; OR
    • Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience conducting health care data analytics using SQL, including extracting and analyzing health/clinical data, as well as programming and experience in the use and application of clinical data. Experience in extracting, creating, and working with large data sets from large, complex clinical/health data warehouses and financial databases; OR
    • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience conducting health care data analytics using SQL, including extracting and analyzing health/clinical data, as well as programming and experience in the use and application of clinical data. Experience in extracting, creating, and working with large data sets from large, complex clinical/health data warehouses and financial databases; OR
    • Equivalent combination of education/experience.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Must reside within North Carolina.
    • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.

    Preferred:

    • Degree in IT, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Business, or Human Services.
    • One or more of Microsoft data systems certifications, such as R or Python, or equivalent certifications (SQL Server, BI, or Azure).
