Senior .NET Engineer

Softeta is an IT consulting and custom software development company that working with mid-sized and large businesses across Europe. We help clients modernize legacy systems, build tailored digital solutions, and prepare their data infrastructure for AI and automation. We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Engineer to join our growing team and help power the systems that connect millions of gamers worldwide. You will take ownership of key services, designing, optimizing, and scaling the infrastructure that keeps our platform fast, secure, and ready for anything. Responsibilities

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design and development of robust, high-performance, and scalable services using the .NET framework.
• Be a key contributor to architectural decisions, ensuring our systems are secure, efficient, and maintainable.
• Design, implement, and optimize highly available REST APIs to support global user growth and complex business logic.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers, contributing to code reviews and setting high engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Technologies - .NET 8, Azure SQL, Angular 19, Azure.

5+ years of professional experience in C# / .NET development, demonstrating deep technical expertise;

• Expert-level knowledge and experience in designing, integrating, and optimizing high-traffic REST APIs;
• Proven experience working with and scaling complex, real-world web projects;
• Familiarity with modern software architecture patterns (e.g., Microservices, DDD);

Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD, Kubernetes, Grafana, and APM tools is highly desirable. Familiarity with Azure, Service Bus, Docker, and Bitbucket. EExperience with Azure AI Search or Apache Lucene is a plus. Salary:

• For employees: 5500 EUR to 6600 EUR monthly (gross).
• For contractors: 38 EUR to 42 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
