Senior Mendix Developer

Min Experience: 5 years Location: Remote (India) JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced Senior Mendix Developer to design, develop, and deliver robust low-code applications that support business and manufacturing transformation initiatives. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, integrating solutions with enterprise systems such as Siemens Opcenter, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance application delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Mendix low-code platform. Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and UX/UI designers to gather requirements and deliver user-centric solutions. Integrate Mendix applications with Siemens Opcenter (Discrete/Process) and other enterprise environments. Develop and manage interfaces using REST, SOAP, OData APIs, and various database connections. Implement best practices for application architecture, security, and performance optimization. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to overall team capability building. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensure effective version control, and follow application lifecycle management processes. Stay updated with Mendix platform advancements and related technologies, including MES/Opcenter. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of software/application development experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Mendix, including advanced capabilities. Mendix Advanced Developer Certification (Expert level preferred). Working knowledge or practical experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution (Discrete or Process). Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and integration workflows. Familiarity with API development, data modelling, and integration design. Proficiency in application architecture and enterprise-level solution design. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps/CI-CD practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or SAP Cloud. Exposure to manufacturing industry use cases and plant operations. Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Knowledge of enterprise-level security standards, performance tuning, and compliance. Experience leading Mendix or MES-based programs or project teams.
