Senior Data Engineer

Engagements are typically focused on digitization of existing operations & processes and/or activation of digital customer engagement channels. With a team of 100+ tech and market consultants, robusta maintains an impactful footprint across EMEA and engages with its clients through its two key operations hubs in Egypt and Germany. Key Responsibilities Architect and implement high-performance data pipelines and cloud-native solutions. Lead integration of diverse data sources while ensuring scalability, stability, and consistency. Define and enforce data architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices. Mentor and oversee junior data engineers, ensuring high code quality and engineering excellence. Collaborate with data scientists, BI analysts, and business stakeholders to design data models, APIs, and analytical data structures. Implement advanced data management techniques including real-time data processing, streaming, and master data management (MDM). Optimize data pipelines for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability. Ensure adherence to data governance policies, security standards, and privacy regulations. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 5–8 years of experience in data engineering or data architecture roles. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and data orchestration frameworks. Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Hands-on experience with modern data warehouse and big data technologies. Proven experience leading data engineering projects and mentoring teams.
