In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize advanced data solutions to support complex business and client needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-based architectures, manage ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensure data integrity, security, and scalability. This position combines hands-on technical delivery with mentorship responsibilities, guiding junior engineers and contributing to best practices across projects. You will also engage with clients to understand requirements and deliver innovative, high-impact solutions. Proficiency in Python, SQL, YML, Terraform, and related coding or scripting languages. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated data services (e.g., Databricks, BigQuery). Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and related tools. Experience with SCM tools such as Git, GitHub, and GitLab. Knowledge of automation and configuration management solutions (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Octopus Deploy, AWS Config, Azure Automation). Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Bilingual French & English is an asset. Optional but preferred certifications: Google Professional Data Engineer, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, Azure or AWS data engineering certifications.
