Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management o Architect, deploy, and manage AWS cloud solutions aligned with best practices for security, scalability, and reliability. o Implement and optimize network architecture including VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and load balancers. o Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place. DevOps & Automation o Build, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent. o Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible. o Manage container orchestration (EKS, ECS, Docker, Kubernetes). o Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies, encryption, monitoring, and auditing in AWS. o Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) as applicable. Monitoring & Performance Optimization o Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, or other third-party tools. o Continuously monitor costs and optimize AWS usage through cost-eƯective solutions. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement o Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to enable seamless application delivery. o Engage with third-party vendors/tools for integration and ensure smooth ecosystem interoperability. o Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers. AWS Expertise: Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route53, CloudFormation, etc.). DevOps: Proven hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, containerization, and orchestration. Infrastructure & Networking: Strong understanding of cloud networking, hybrid cloud, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and security groups. Automation Tools: Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation. Scripting & Development: Working knowledge of Python, Bash, or other scripting languages. 3rd Party Integrations: Familiarity with integrating monitoring, logging, and security tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, HashiCorp Vault). OS & Systems: Solid experience with Linux/Unix system administration. Familiarity with modern networking concepts (service mesh, zero-trust networking, etc.). Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP). Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments. AWS Certification is a must (Associate or Professional level). o Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
