    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Contracts Manager in the United States. We are seeking an experienced Project Contracts Manager to support large-scale construction projects across the U.S., with a focus on renewable energy. This role involves overseeing contract administration from pre-construction through project closeout, coordinating with project teams, legal, and commercial departments to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will manage contract negotiations, monitor changes and claims, and provide guidance on contractual obligations. Travel to project sites is a core component, providing hands-on involvement in project execution and team collaboration. The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proactive problem-solving are essential. You will contribute to the successful delivery of projects while helping shape efficient contractual processes and best practices.

    Accountabilities:

    • Facilitate negotiation of contract exhibits and ensure timely execution of contractual documents.
    • Coordinate with project teams and subject matter experts from project award through mobilization.
    • Advise Project Managers on contract changes, track claims, and manage change order processes.
    • Support administration, documentation, and closure of major property insurance claims.
    • Ensure all contractual obligations are met during project closeout, including certificates and warranties.
    • Participate in project team meetings and engage proactively with on-site leadership.
    • Capture lessons learned during project execution for continuous improvement.
    • Be on-site as required (up to 25% of project duration) and perform other duties as assigned.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

    5+ years of experience in construction contract management on projects ranging from $30M to $150M. 3+ years of experience with construction management software such as Viewpoint, Procore, or Project Controls. Deep understanding of contract management principles, common construction provisions, force majeure, change orders, and claims analysis. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting contract language. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work in a dynamic, on-site environment with exposure to varying conditions and moderate physical demands.
