Manual QA Engineer - Senior

Overview:

• SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Manual QA Engineer. We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.
• You’ll work in our Setup Team, contributing to our continued growth and innovation in the Casino Platform.

Purpose of the Role:

• You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by applying industry-standard QA practices and tools.
• You’ll collaborate closely with development and product teams to design, execute, and optimize test plans across the full software development lifecycle.
• Your work will help identify and resolve issues early, drive continuous improvements in testing processes, and contribute to seamless, high-quality product releases.

Key responsibilities:

Analyze feature requirements and proactively participating in planning sessions; Prepare test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans); Perform manual testing of Web, Mobile applications (Android/iOS), and PWA; Actively participate in feature acceptance processes before releases; Maintain and update the test base in TestRail; Participate in Scrum ceremonies (daily, grooming, retro, planning); Communicate with developers, designers, and the PO regarding identified issues; Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and internal standards;

Required Experience:

5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance; Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes; Solid experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases; Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Xray, Zephyr); Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban); Knowledge of browser dev tools, network analysis, and debugging techniques; Proficiency in defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira); Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android); Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., gambling, banking, health tech); Strong ownership mindset and proactive approach to quality; Good spoken and written English communication skills (B2+ or higher); Russian – native-level proficiency.

Nice to have:

Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO); Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and Android); Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6); Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., gambling, banking, health tech);
