JOB TITLE: Labourer LOCATION: Remote Long Range Radar Sites across Canada TYPE: Unionized, Rotational Position (6 weeks on, 6 weeks off)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Loading and unloading of cargo, materials, supplies and equipment
• Shoveling, snow removal
• Assisting other trades onsite
• General site maintenance, including assisting in maintaining an orderly worksite
• Painting and light maintenance
• Fueling vehicles
• Running errands, processing deliveries

WHO YOU ARE:

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATE(S) / LICENSE(S):

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to obtain Reliability level security clearance

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Past work experience related to Labourer functions, Customer Service, or a related job area

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Knowledge of Basic Safety Regulations

COMPETENCIES / SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Requires ability to adapt to changing tasks and locations.
• Ability to integrate successfully into a small, multi-cultural and team-oriented department
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as required
• Ability to work under physically demanding, often adverse weather conditions in remote Arctic locations
• The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely.

• ROTATION & OVERTIME: 6weeks in/6weeks out rotation (48-hour workweeks) with overtime at 1.5x your base rate. Paid travel days (up to 2 days) with all travel costs covered.
