Junior Software Developer - NestJS/React

Aspire Software is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team in Lebanon. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining backend services using NestJS. Build user-friendly frontend components and pages using React. Work with REST APIs, authentication flows, and core platform modules for the new RentWorks software. Collaborate with designers to implement clean, intuitive, responsive user interfaces. Ensure consistent user experience across the application. AI-Assisted Development Use Cursor, Claude AI, and other AI coding tools to accelerate development, generate tests, improve code quality, and assist with documentation. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code. Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to deliver new features Troubleshoot bugs and contribute to improving performance, security, and stability. DevOps & Testing (Junior Level)Help with basic CI/CD tasks and deployment workflows (with guidance). Write simple tests and assist with debugging issues across the stack. Basic knowledge of NestJS or Node.js backend frameworks. Experience with React and modern frontend development. Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and modern web app architecture. Familiarity with SQL databases is a plus. Strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills. Attention to detail and motivation to follow engineering best practices. Ability to collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team. AI Developer Tools Interest in working with AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude AI, etc.). Openness to using AI for troubleshooting, documentation, and improving productivity. Nice to Have Basic UX/UI understanding (layouts, usability, responsive design). Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library). Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) or Docker. Knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub).
