As a Junior Lead Buyer in the Global Indirect Procurement Team within Envalior, you will have meaningful responsibilities that will challenge you and help you grow. You will contribute to the success of the team by working on high-impact projects. Collaborating with colleagues, you will solve complex problems, drive innovation, and learn from industry experts. The role is designed to equip you with everything you need for a successful career within Envalior.

During your first two years as a Junior Lead Buyer, you will:

• Contract Management Support: Gain hands-on experience in managing contracts, ensuring compliance, and understanding how to minimize risks related to supplier changes and market dynamics.
• Supplier Management: Support supplier relationships by tracking performance, assisting in negotiations, and learning how to build strong partnerships.
• Support Purchasing Strategy Development: Work alongside experienced team members to develop and implement purchasing strategies for indirect materials.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and help integrate them into procurement strategies.
• Problem-Solving & Process Improvement: Take an active role in identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and contribute to innovative solutions.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, supply chains, and cost factors to provide valuable insights to improve purchasing decisions.

The Ideal Candidate

To thrive in this program, you should have:

• A recent Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant technical discipline.

1-5 years of work experience.

• A strong passion for Procurement and a desire to learn.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Fluency in English, knowledge of German and/or Dutch are advantageous.
