High-Level Overview
The client is an advisory firm that unlocks capital for sustainable growth in underserved markets, focusing on clean energy access and nature-based solutions. They provide transaction and strategy advisory services to investors, fund managers, companies, donors, and governments.
The client is supporting UNDP Zimbabwe in delivering Phase I of the SDG Impact Investment Project, an initiative aimed at identifying bankable SDG-aligned investment opportunities and strengthening the enabling environment for private capital mobilisation. Phase I will produce a validated SDG Impact Investment Map (IIM), an assessment of the investment ecosystem, a mapping of current and potential impact investors, and targeted capacity-building activities for key stakeholders.
To support this work, the client seeks an Impact Investment Consultant to contribute to analytical work, investor mapping, opportunity identification, enabling-environment assessment, capacity-building activities, and preparation of the SDG Impact Investment Map. The consultant will work as part of the project team and engage regularly with government, private sector, DFIs, and UNDP.
