About the Role The Head of Sales Operations plays a key leadership role in optimising Moodle’s global commercial operations. This position is responsible for driving sales efficiency, implementing scalable systems and processes and ensuring the Sales and Strategic Partnerships teams are equipped to meet ambitious revenue targets. The role combines strategic and hands-on work, from designing operational frameworks and managing CRM systems to coaching and mentoring team members. Success in this role will come from a balance of analytical thinking, process improvement and people leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate the performance of a high-impact team and contribute directly to Moodle’s mission of empowering educators and learners worldwide. What You’ll Do

    Most days in this role involve a mix of strategic planning, operational improvement and leadership. You will:

    • Lead and develop a high-performing Sales Operations team, providing clear direction, coaching and mentorship to drive individual and team success.
    • Optimise sales processes and systems to improve efficiency, scalability and accuracy across lead generation, pipeline management and revenue forecasting.
    • Manage and enhance CRM systems (Salesforce and Hubspot), ensuring data integrity, effective adoption and continuous improvement.
    • Generate actionable insights by designing and analysing reports and dashboards that inform decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Strategic Partnerships and Technology teams to align strategies and enhance the customer journey.
    • Champion a data-driven and solutions-focused culture, identifying opportunities for improvement and leading initiatives that enhance commercial outcomes.

    Especially if you can tell us about your:

    • Proven track record of exceeding ambitious individual and team revenue goals.
    • Deep expertise in process design, development and implementation.

    5+ years of experience managing a team, with demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.

    • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination experience.
    • Extensive experience managing CRM systems (Salesforce and Hubspot preferred).
    • Data-driven approach, with the ability to assess data quality and develop insights through reports and dashboards.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on scalable, practical solutions.
