What makes you a great fit You are an ambitious developer who's hungry to grow fast. You're versatile: equally comfortable building mobile UIs and backend APIs. You thrive in small teams where you wear multiple hats and ship fast. You've worked with React or React Native and have built backend services in Node.js/TypeScript (preferably). You're curious about AI and excited to build products that actually help families organize their lives. You don't need hand-holding. You can take a feature from "here's what we need" to "it's deployed" with minimal supervision. You communicate proactively when you're stuck or when requirements are unclear. 4+ years full-stack development experience Strong TypeScript skills (not just JavaScript) React experience (React Native is a plus, willingness to learn is required) REST API design and implementation Git workflow (PRs, code review, branching) Strong English communication (written and verbal) Would Be a Plus React Native experience - significantly reduces ramp-up time Supabase or Firebase experience - familiar with BaaS patterns PostgreSQL experience (queries, schema design, basic optimization) Node.js backend experience (Express, Fastify, or similar) AI/LLM API integration - OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, or similar Mobile app development - understanding of mobile-specific challenges (offline, push notifications, app lifecycle) Real-time systems - WebSockets, subscriptions, optimistic updates Startup experience - comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration EdTech or family/consumer apps - domain understanding Active AI coding assistant user - Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot

Your day-to-day in this position Build features end-to-end: from database schema to API to mobile UI Integrate AI agent responses into mobile app UI Implement real-time features (chat, notifications, schedule updates) Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Help shape technical decisions in a small, collaborative team Ship weekly - we move fast and iterate based on real usage
