    Job Description

At Centorrino Technologies (CT), we’re more than just tech—we’re a community that goes beyond expectations. We’ve been recognised as a Great Place to Work in 2024-2025 and one of the Best Places to Work Medium & Large Size in Australia for 2025, with an outstanding eNPS score of 68. And we’re not stopping there. We're on a mission to redefine the customer experience, and we need a passionate Finance Controller to join our Finance team in Coburg. The Financial Controller plays a critical role in driving financial clarity, commercial discipline, and growth readiness across CT. As part of our General Management Committee, this role strengthens our financial capability through deep insight into revenue, margins, cost drivers, and business performance. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, the Financial Controller improves pricing discipline, forecasting accuracy, procurement efficiency and overall financial visibility to support smarter decision-making and stronger business outcomes. The role also supports our M&A pipeline by assessing acquisition opportunities, modelling financial impacts and assisting with integration planning. Partnering with the Group CFO, the Financial Controller ensures CT maintains the maturity, transparency and commercial health required for sustained growth and future sale readiness.

    What you'll do:

    • In collaboration with Group CFO, lead end-to-end financial management: budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end close, and preparation of accurate financial statements and GMC packs.
    • Produce timely management reports and analyse revenue streams (managed services, projects, licensing, hardware).
    • Analyse margin trends and cost drivers across service lines to inform decision-making.
    • Partner with sales, service delivery and operations to improve pricing discipline, contract profitability and utilisation.
    • Support tender responses, business cases and commercial negotiations with clients and vendors.
    • Provide financial insight on recurring revenue growth, churn, SLA performance and customer lifetime value.
    • Support evaluation and financial modelling for M&A opportunities, synergies and integration planning.
    • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital to protect liquidity.
    • Oversee billing accuracy (recurring services, T&M, projects, licensing) and strengthen AR processes to reduce debtor days.
    • Ensure AP efficiency and optimise vendor terms.

Build, lead and mentor the finance team to deliver a data-driven, service-focused function. Drive improvements in financial systems, dashboards and reporting automation (e.g. ConnectWise, QuickBooks/Xero, Fathom, Power BI). Implement and maintain strong internal controls around procurement, billing and revenue recognition; support external audits and compliance activities. Identify and implement process improvements so financial processes scale effectively as the business grows.

    What you'll bring:

    • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
    • Proven experience in financial management, ideally within an IT services or MSP environment.
    • Strong understanding of recurring revenue models, project accounting, and managed services operations.
    • Proficient in financial systems and reporting tools commonly used in MSPs.
    • Excellent analytical, commercial, and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment with competing priorities.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
    • Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving improvement.
    • Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Ability to manage ambiguity, deadlines and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment to prioritise accordingly. Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual rigour and curiosity, and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Our company is more than just a workplace, it's a hub of inspiration and creativity where employees love to work! Here's why:

    • Hybrid working (for majority of our roles) with team anchor days to support collaboration.
    • Extensive training and development opportunities that enable continual growth as part of your career planning.
    • Extensive discounts and benefits to maximise your money.
    • A choice of your IT equipment to maximise your success and access to cost-price tech for your personal needs.
    • Fun team events to celebrate achievements and connect with colleagues outside work as part of our engaging culture.

CT celebrates diversity and enables every voice to be heard as we drive to create the world we want. Apply today and be part of a team that values innovation, inclusivity, variety and diverse backgrounds.

    • Note: A valid Vulnerable People / Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check are required.
