This role offers the opportunity to lead and scale high-performing engineering teams working on core web applications and strategic third-party integrations. You will act as a technical and operational multiplier, guiding teams through complex projects while ensuring reliability, scalability, and rapid feature delivery. The position emphasizes engineering excellence, operational stability, and close collaboration with Product to translate strategy into measurable outcomes. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation. This is a fully remote role in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where your leadership directly influences customer success and platform performance.

    Accountabilities:

    • Lead and mentor two engineering teams (8 engineers total), fostering a culture of technical ownership, high-velocity delivery, and agile practices.
    • Scope, drive, and manage projects end-to-end, emphasizing predictability, measurability, and sustainability.
    • Own the performance, robustness, and scalability of strategic Microsoft 365 integrations and core web applications.
    • Partner with Product Management to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps, resource plans, and execution priorities.
    • Uphold best-in-class engineering practices including code review standards, testing methodologies, and operational monitoring.
    • Provide comprehensive project status updates to stakeholders, tracking milestones, challenges, and resource allocation.
    • Drive architectural evolution and technical strategy to ensure resilience and adaptability for future product growth.
    • Ensure operational stability through incident management, monitoring, and preventive improvements.
    • Proven experience managing and mentoring high-performing software engineering teams (2+ years preferred).
    • Strong full-stack technical proficiency, including Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, React, and modern frontend frameworks.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 integrations, Graph APIs, OAuth 2.0, and cloud technologies (Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling). Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time while managing dependencies and prioritizing work streams. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical initiatives with business outcomes. Nice to have: experience in B2B SaaS or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments, cloud-native deployment, or leading major re-architecture initiatives. Competitive salary range: $138,000–$208,000 (target midpoint $173,500). Fully remote-first work environment with global team flexibility. Equity appreciation program for all team members. Unlimited PTO with a minimum two-week allowance and 10 holidays. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance covering 95% of premiums for employees and dependents. Paid parental leave up to 6 weeks. 401(k) plan with 2.5% company match. Additional benefits including pet insurance, flexible spending accounts, short-term disability, and home office support.
