    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in United States. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, managing, and optimizing enterprise cloud environments with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions, including IaaS, compute, containers, storage, and networking. This role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic problem-solving, ensuring operational excellence and performance optimization across cloud services. You will leverage automation tools and best practices to enhance deployment efficiency and system reliability. This position offers opportunities to work on complex cloud architectures and to contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    Accountabilities:

    • Design, implement, and troubleshoot Azure networking solutions, including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateways, Virtual WANs, Load Balancers, and Azure Firewall.
    • Deploy and manage virtual machines, availability sets, and scaling solutions within IaaS environments.
    • Optimize compute resources, including Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
    • Configure and manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Instances (ACI).
    • Implement and maintain Azure storage solutions, including Blob Storage, File Storage, and Backup/Recovery solutions.
    • Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security Center.
    • Automate deployments using ARM Templates, Terraform, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
    • Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to enhance cloud infrastructure security, reliability, and performance.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

    10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on Azure experience in production environments. Strong expertise in Azure Networking, Virtual Machines, Load Balancing, and ExpressRoute. Proficiency in IaaS, Compute, Containers (AKS/Docker), and Azure Storage solutions. Hands-on experience with automation tools, including PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform. Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and security best practices. Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305) are highly desirable. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with ability to work independently and in team environments. Preferred: experience with hybrid cloud networking, DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipelines. Competitive salary based on experience and location.
