About Luma AI Luma's mission is to build multimodal AI to expand human imagination and capabilities. We are looking for a senior, multi-disciplinary, and hands-on Brand Designer to help tell the complex story of Luma to the world in a simple, beautiful, and compelling way.
Where You Come In This is a role for a hands-on Senior IC. You will work alongside our design, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute Luma's brand identity across all touchpoints—from our marketing site and social channels to in-product visuals and launch campaigns. We are looking for someone with a fresh, opinionated, and high-quality design foundation who can create work that feels distinct, not like a generic tech brand.
What You'll Do Evolve the Brand Identity: Contribute to the development and evolution of Luma's visual identity, ensuring consistency and quality across product, marketing, social, and internal channels. Be a Multi-Disciplinary Maker: Use a combination of graphic design, motion design, web design (Framer), and video production skills to communicate our story in visually impactful ways. Design for All Touchpoints: Design and build marketing sites, social media templates, merchandise, educational materials, and high-level art direction for product launches and our research presence. Tell Complex Stories Beautifully: Take complex ideas, like a new AI model, and create a visual narrative that makes them feel accessible, exciting, and beautiful. Collaborate Widely: Partner with internal teams (product, marketing, research) and external creatives (artists, photographers, agencies) to bring the Luma brand to life.
Who You Are You have 5+ years of hands-on experience as a multi-disciplinary brand designer, with a portfolio to prove it. A portfolio is required for consideration. Your portfolio should feature work for tech companies. Experience at a respected AI or design-led tech company is a major plus. You have hands-on experience with tools like Framer. You have a broad skillset that includes graphic design, motion design, and web design You are a strategic thinker who understands how to build and maintain a cohesive brand system across many touchpoints.
What Sets You Apart (Bonus Points) Experience using generative AI tools (for image, video, or sound) as part of your brand design workflow. Skills in video production and editing. Experience working at an early-stage startup, helping to define a brand from the ground up.
