Backend Engineer

We are a fast-growing hospitality and real estate group that provides thoughtfully designed, fully furnished apartments tailored for business travelers, digital nomads, and modern families, available on flexible terms that adapt to their lifestyle. As we continue to expand, with over 400 units already under management in Cyprus and plans to extend into Greece and beyond, we are seeking a Backend / Full Stack Engineer to join our Technology team as we scale our platform, systems and digital products.

What you will be doing:

Build and evolve our core platform (Porta), website and mobile app Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with automated tests and clear documentation Collaborate with Product to translate business needs into scoped solutions Participate in technical design, estimations and delivery planning Own reliability and monitoring for the systems you build, especially customer-facing flows Integrate with mission-critical systems (Netsuite, Zendesk, payments, CRM tools, booking channels) Investigate issues proactively, propose fixes, prevent regressions Work as part of a small cross-functional team (including Product) with high ownership and accountability Strong backend engineering skills (Go preferred); full-stack experience with Vue.js is a plus Proven experience building production-grade web systems Ability to balance speed, scope, and quality when making technical decisions Curiosity about the property management business and how your work impacts it Collaborate closely with Product and cross-functional business teams to shape solutions and deliver impactful outcomes Comfortable working in an asynchronous environment, with clear specs and documentation Having a strong sense of ownership and be team player with a constructive, collaborative mindset
